Moving On Up: The Greenery Expands Into Greenville, SC

The Greenery is pleased to announce that we’ve expanded commercial landscape operations to the Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina area! The location of this new maintenance branch will allow The Greenery to provide the same extraordinary level of commercial landscape services to businesses in the Upstate that other coastal regions of the state have enjoyed for decades.

CEO Lee Edwards shared, “We are excited to bring our employee-owned company to the communities of Greenville/Spartanburg and look forward to providing quality commercial landscape services to the people and businesses in this area.” The expansion is a part of The Greenery’s recent growth into parts of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. “Moving into the Upstate has been a goal of The Greenery for a long time,” said Edwards, “and we are proud that it is now a reality.”

As of July 1, 2020, The Greenery acquired the assets of Rivertop Contracting’s South Carolina Division headquartered in Greenville. The Greenery will offer commercial landscape services to local businesses, municipalities and POAs in the Upstate.

For the past 12 years, The Greenery has proudly transitioned into an employee-owned company, with over 800 employee-owners. Employee ownership has proven to be the catalyst for gaining a successful position as a thriving leader in the landscaping industry. The expansion into the Greenville/Spartanburg market is another opportunity to welcome new team members into a company that prioritizes investing in their people.
