The building has a very unique and historical background. This 1873 church building nestled on the nursery property at The Greenery is a delight for history buffs and for shoppers. In 1973, Ruthie and Berry Edwards saw a quaint little church for sale, right next to the brand new Bethlehem Baptist Church. The building had a 'For Sale' sign, so the Edward's purchased it for $600 and barged the old church to Hilton Head, where it now sits.
