A Passion for Plants Since 1973

The Greenery has been serving the lowcountry with comprehensive services for landscape maintenance, irrigation and lighting systems, construction and hardscapes in residential, community and commercial properties.

We operate a large garden nursery with a greenhouse on Hilton Head Island offering beautiful and abundant displays of quality plants and flowers. Our staff of horticulturists and experienced plant specialists enjoy working with homeowners and do-it-yourself gardeners.

The Antiques & Garden Collectibles shop at the garden center is inside an old church building. A visit is sure to delight any shopper with an eclectic blend of antiques, home accessories, lamps and a pots and garden room.


Our team of over 400 employees includes horticulturists, irrigation technicians, Landscape industry certified technicians, certified pesticide applicators, supervisors and foremen who are licensed and certified in their fields.


We have a strict safety program with daily and weekly meetings. As part of our safety program, a safety manual is issued to and read by all employees. We require our field personnel to wear safety vest along with eye and ear protection.


We participate in E-verify to certify that all Greenery employees are legal to work in the United States. We drug test all employees and verify all drivers licenses.
